All prices include GST. A minimum two-hour booking applies. Regular-hire rates require a minimum commitment of one school term. All bookings are subject to availability and approval. A refundable security bond may apply.

Private hire is limited to personal dance practice and rehearsal. Classes, workshops and other organised activities must be approved by NXLPA.
How to Book
Important Hire Information
- All bookings are subject to availability and NXLPA approval.
- Full payment is required in advance.
- A refundable security bond applies, as outlined in the hire agreement.
- Commercial hirers must hold at least $10 million in public liability insurance.
- Casual-hire cancellations: at least 7 days’ notice for a refund, or at least 48 hours’ notice for a booking credit.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum booking time?
Our minimum studio hire is two hours. All bookings are subject to availability and approval.
Do I need public liability insurance?
Commercial hirers, including independent instructors and businesses conducting dance classes, must provide evidence of at least $10 million in public liability insurance. Private dance practice and rehearsal do not ordinarily require a separate policy, subject to NXLPA’s approval and insurance arrangements.
Is a security bond required?
A refundable bond applies to casual hire where specified in the booking agreement. Regular hirers pay a $100 refundable bond, held until their agreed bookings for the year are complete. Refunds are subject to the agreement’s conditions.
What happens if I need to cancel?
For casual hire, at least seven days’ notice is required for a refund, or at least 48 hours’ notice for a booking credit. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice are generally non-refundable. Regular hire is subject to the cancellation terms in the agreement.
When will I receive my studio access code?
Access instructions and your studio access code will be provided before your booking, once your agreement is signed, payment has been received and any applicable insurance requirements have been met.
